FAQs

Q?

An example of large scale systems change?

A.

We designed NV Governor Brian Sandoval's Green Zone Initiative to improve the health, education and employment outcomes for veterans across Nevada. By building a data driven platform that included the input from community members and leaders, and targeting our efforts we were able to build a statewide infrastructure from community led veterans coalitions at the local level to an interagency council at the state level that works to move information, increase collaboration and efficiency, and align service delivery to target unmet needs. By looking at the entire system, from government programs and funding to philanthropic investments and community led initiatives, we laid out a plan for the state to become the most veteran friendly state in the nation.
